Biography of BandForlorn Vale is an atmospheric black metal band hailing from Mexico. Francisco Campos, Carlos Ochoa and Karina Campos initiated the band in 2002. Shortly after, Pablo Valadez joined to play bass, and Alberto Valle and Victor Valle joined for playing secon guitar and the drums duties. Forlorn Vale was born. They are a band which success is measured with such bands as Lords of Darkness (Guadalajara), Espiritualia (Zacatecas) and Simple Kulto (Mochis).
Haunting keyboard melodies, the sadness in violins, aggresive guitar work, destructive drums, grim/raw vocals characterize Forlorn Vale`s sound. They are musically inspired by 80`s and 90`s metal, like Metallica, Sepultura, Iron Maiden, Therion, Cradle Of Filth, Emperor, Dimmu Borgir, Opeth and many others bands also inspire them. Our sound is a mix of all most diferent influences, making a melancolic atmospheres betweem the tragedy and speed of black metal and aggresive power chords of death metal. |
