Biography of Band

Nettlethrone is founded in 2000 by guitarists Tankut and Burak. In a short time, vocalist Can is included in the band.
After the permanent staff is established, they started to work for compositions. Meanwhile Ali played bass and beside
being vocalist Can played drums so the staff is set. In the beginning of 2002 Ali had to leave the band because he didn't
have enough time to be a part of the band, so the main trio started to look a for a new bass player. In that time
Nettlethrone worked with several bass players but none of them was suitable for band's musical ideas and the sound that
they were trying to create. At last Ali rejoined the band and with this line-up Nettlethrone entered Zoosound for their
first record Ruins Of The Humanity (a.k.a. Promo 2003). The Band took very positive critics and featured on several
magazines, webzines and compilation cds. The recording session of demo started in February 2004 with well known producers
and musicians Erkan Tatoglu (Suicide) and Cuneyt Caglayan(Ominous Grief). In this period Caglar Yurut(Suicide, Flatground)
joined to band as session drummer. Five songs were recorded in two days and demo released in the end of April 2004. With
the release of first demo Blueprint, band took great attention and got positive reactions from local press and fans.
Nettlethrone featured on the most popular magazines, webzines and radio shows of Turkey. After all these success Ender and
Serhat joined the band and line up completed. Because of some reasons Serhat replaced with Kaya Yarcin (Despised).
Nettlethrone has been completed the writing of their debut album and looking for a label to release/distribute.
