Biography of Band

Bedeiah started in 2003 by F.A. Monje under the name Hell-No. In those early days, Monje was experimenting with sorrow metal and Latin folk influences and released Experimental Test Demo 2003 to a few listeners. The name Hell-No was shortly dropped after Monje felt that it was too campy for the black metal scene.
The named also had already been owned by another group of a different style of music. So in December of 2003, the name was changed to Bedeiah, which better suited the black metal genre. Unsatisfied with the first demo, Monje had worked even harder on a new project gaining influences from bands such as Darkthrone, Burzum, Necromantia, Graveland, Absurd and so forth.
A few sub-demos were released to a few listeners who had requested to hear the Bedeiah sound. Bedeiah had been compared to Xasthur, Nagoroth, Burzum, Bathory and Beherit. Monje is still experimenting with the classic black metal sound and adds many elements of his own into the mix.
