Дискография

Demo: Last Rites (1984) Трэклист.
Комментарий: The remastered version of Killing is my Business... and Business is Good!
features this demo as bonus tracks. "Loved to Deth" is indeed spelled that way
- the extra "a" was added for the album version. A version of "Rattlehead" from
the same recording session does float about, but was never officially on the
demo.

A certain vinyl bootleg includes "Last Rites/Loved to Deth" and "Skull Beneath
the Skin", and calls the tracks "Rock Me" and "You and Me". The songs were
never, ever called that. Ever.

Lee Rausch is the drummer on this demo.
CD: Killing is my Business...and Business Is Good! (1985) Трэклист.
Состав: Dave Mustaine - lead guitar, vocals, piano, Chris Poland - lead guitar, David Ellefson - bass guitar, back-up vocals, Gar Samuelson - drums, tympani
Комментарий: The original version is still available as a re-release in 1999 by Century
Media Records.

There are four versions of this album. The tracklist shown is for the
re-release from 2002 on Loud Records that was remixed and remastered. The
original had the first eight songs, with These Boots as track 4. After the
original pressing, that track was deleted under pressure from Lee Hazelwood,
who found it offensive. There was also a Century Media remaster of the original
album in 1999 (when Century Media remastered the whole Combat Records
catalogue).

The last 3 tracks are from the 1984 demo, and appear only on the 2002
remaster/remix. These Boots was permitted to be on the 2002 version, but only
on the condition that the offensive words Dave added were (literally) bleeped
out.
Demo: Peace Sells... But Who`s Buying? (1986) Трэклист.
Состав: Dave Mustaine - Vocals, lead, rhythm guitars, David Ellefson - Bass guitars, background vocals, Chris Poland - Lead, rhythm guitars, Gar Samuelson - Drums, cigarette burns
Комментарий: Recorded in one take in 1986 during the Peace Sells recording sessions, where it
was used by Combat records as a promo tape.
CD: Peace Sells... But Who's Buying? (1986) Трэклист.
Состав: Dave Mustaine - Vocals, lead, rhythm guitars, David Ellefson - Bass guitars, background vocals, Chris Poland - Lead, rhythm guitars, Gar Samuelson - Drums
Комментарий: A new DVD audio version was released on October 14th, 2003. Included on the DVD
are three different audio tracks, DVD-A
5.1, DTS 5.1, and PCM 2.0 stereo. Also included on this special edition are
tons of extras like the "Devil's Island Mix Breakdown" which allows the
listener to break the song down into 6 different formats.
Also among the extras are interviews with Dave Mustaine, David Ellefson and
Chris Poland as well as the music videos for "Wake Up Dead" and "Peace Sells".
Single: Wake Up Dead (1986) Трэклист.
Комментарий: The 7" single does not contain the third track - only the 12" does.

Состав: Dave Mustaine - Lead vocals, lead, rhythm, acoustic guitars, David Ellefson - Bass guitar, background vocals, Jeff Young - Lead, rhythm, acoustic guitars, Chuck Behler - Drums, percussion
Комментарий: "Liar" is dedicated to Chris Poland, who was fired from the band for stealing
Dave Mustaine's guitars.

"In My Darkest Hour" was written in late September, 1986, after Dave heard
about Cliff Burton's death.

"Anarchy in the UK" is of course a Sex Pistols cover.

2004 re-issue re-mixed & remastered includes 4 bonus tracks.
Split: No More Mr. Nice Guy (1990) Трэклист.

has no special message. The 12" vinyl has a live version of "Hangar 18" as
opposed to the AOR edit (which cuts out most of the guitar work at the end).
The 7" has "The Conjuring" and another edited version of "Hangar 18" (the MJ12
edit). Altogether, there are four possible versions of "Hangar 18".

All live tracks were recorded at Wembley Arena, London, England on October
14th, 1990.

Состав: Dave Mustaine - Guitars, Vocals, Marty Friedman - Electric and Acoustic Guitars, Backing Vocals, David Ellefson - Bass, Backing Vocals, Nick Menza - Drums, backing vocals
Комментарий: Japanese release includes 2 bonus tracks, "Go to Hell" and "Breakpoint".
The remixed 2004 version contains the following bonus tracks, listed here.
EP: Live promo `92 (1992) Трэклист.
Комментарий: This promo was released only to radio stations for play over the air in
entirety. It was recorded live on April 12th, 1992 at the Cow Palace in San
Francisco. All eight tracks appear on one or more Megadeth singles, but
chopped up with some of the crowd interaction missing.

All live tracks were recorded at the Cow Palace, San Francisco, on April 12th,
1992.
Promo: Megadeth Live (1993) Трэклист.
Комментарий: Similar to the live promo of the year before, this was released for promotional
purposes only, and was recorded at the Cow Palace in December of 1992 also.
Says limited edition on it (aren't all promos limited?), but all but one of the
tracks (In My Darkest Hour) were used as b-sides for various singles.

thingy.

Trust)

The 7" has only tracks 1 and 2.

All live tracks were recorded at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, California,
on April 12th, 1992. With the release of this series of singles, it is
possible to have the entire live show (8 songs, 44 minutes) collected from the

only on the rare live promo album.
