Biography of Band

In the summer of 2002, Guillermo Olivares and Rodrigo Espinoza joined forces to form their own project: Human Factor

Guillermo Olivares, self-taught guitar player, began to play guitar when he was 12 years old. He was part of various
projects , incluede one as a solo artist. Rodrigo Espinoza started playing drums at the age of 12. He has been part of a
lot of chilean metal bands. When they were part of "Witchblade" (a local Heavy metal band) they established a very strong
relationship as musicians and friends. This fact strong enough to quit Witchblade and form Human Factor.

When both musicians have enough material for a demo tape, they decided to look for a singer. At that time, Rodrigo and
Guillermo had a very good reference of Dan Elbelman (Bloden Wedd singer) so they contacted him . After he listened the
material, he agreed immediately to join the band. With him, also joined Pedro Aragуn (bass player) Dan Elbelman is one of
the most wonderful singers in the Chilean metal scenario.

To reach the sound and the style desired, the band decided to contact Soledad Genъa , a Rodrigo Espinozaґs old friend. In
the past they were band mates in different projects. She was perfect for the gig, her style of plying fits perfect with
Guillermoґs style of playing. The reason that the band decided to contact her was that she had a very good reputation as a
solo artist and also been the principal composer of the Witchblade debut album ("I").

In 2003, Human Factor had promotional material with 5 songs, these songs were the most representative of a total of 11.

In the middle of 2004, Human Factor experienced their first change as Pedro Aragуn left the band. By September of 2004,
the band contacted Cristiбn Rozas to be the bass player. He agreed immediately and started recording the songs for the
debut album "Unleashed".

After many gigs on the road and at local clubs , the band released "Unleashed".
Powermetal magazines and webzines have catalogued "Unleashed" as a "Kick ass" album. Also the band was nominated for and
won the "best new band of 2004" by "Rockaxis" webzine.

At this moment, the band is between gigs and writing-producing for the next album.
