Biography of BandThe American grunge band Nirvana was formed in Aberdeen, Washington, in 1987. They signed a deal with the Sup Pop label
and quickly rose to become one of the most important bands in the Seattle grunge scene. Several successful albums and
tours were to follow but on February 29th, 1994, Nirvana played their last show ever in Munich, Germany. In March 1994
band leader Kurt Cobain overdosed on a holiday visit in Italy and went into coma. On April 8th, 1994, he committed suicide
