Biography of BandAbhijukto…a dream of three amateur yet determined music lovers which started way back in the year 1994 and faced the
spotlight sometime in the mid of December 2002, when Abhijukto performed at their first public concert.
September 10th 2002, the day Abhijukto was born. it was time to discuss the name of the band and its future. Many names
were surfaced but one in particular stood out, it was Abhijukto (meaning Accused in English), with Riad on Drums and
Vocals, Swad on Guitar and Tamzid on Bass. Thus what only minutes before may have seemed to be just a dream had now also
had a name.
Later to strengthen the lineup for a pure Heavy Metal band, Imran and Wilver were asked to join the band as the lead
guitarist and lead vocalist respectively….hence, after some time of jamming and concerts Abhijukto decided it was time for
a few sessions at the studio, thus (till date) Abhijukto Ek Kolpona I and II was recorded at Sound Garden, where the
maestro Duray Bhai did the mixing and recording of both the tracks…
Later due to misunderstandings and confusions Imran was asked to leave the band; and Swad took both the lead and rhythm
guitar duties. Long time friend of the band Shayaan was asked to take over as manager and soon what lied ahead of
Abhijukto was the future… |
