Biography of BandOsiris are a dark metal band from the south of England, playing a unique brand of female-fronted gothic power metal. With
influences ranging from After Forever to Dragonforce to Bathory, the band's sound encompasses a wide spectrum of styles,
reaching extremities of both melody and power and culminating in a dark, atmospheric brand of power metal. Noteworthy
songs include "In The Wake of The Black Sun", a 10-minute apocalyptic epic, "Sword Of Justice", a 250bpm speed metal
jackhammer, and "Riders Of The Light : Into The Valley Of Death", a classic power metal number. The band, which comprises
of Erin Sheehan on lead vocals, Mikko Figura on guitars and male vocals ad Chris Witherall on drums, plays an intense set
of originals plus two covers - "Stand Alone" by Iced Earth and "Valley of the Damned" by Dragonforce. |
