Biography of Band

Two brothers Todd and Shane Mazerolle recruit drummer Shannon Osburne

to form a heavy hardcore band called Earth A.D.

After only one month of practicing together they landed their first local show.

The band recorded 7 original songs in September '90. This debut was called "No More".

After shows, reviews and gaining a fan base they wrote more and more music for their next release. It was recorded in the fall of '91 and
by late fall a 9 song demo was released called "Scars of the Mind".

This demo was very well received internationally. It received radio airplay and reviews through many 'zines.

They kept playing shows and selling merchandise. In '92 they recorded 5 songs to release on a future vinyl.

As of March '93 a 3 song icy blue 7" vinyl was released called "A Crucifix".

The musical direction was more death metal but still incorporating the Earth A.D. style.
About a year later the band took a break.

In '95 the group entered the studio and recorded some new material.

This was then erased in error by the engineer. Being the forgiving guys they are, they recorded it again.

In early '98 a 12 song CD was released called "These Days". It had new songs as well as updated old songs.

In late '98 a video was made from one of the songs from this release. The song the band chose was "No Reason". It had received some
rotation on Canada's music station Muchmusics' Loud program.

Frustration then set inside the trio. They went their separate ways musically but still remained friends. Shane and Todd kept writing
songs in their spare time and some interest was piqued between the 3 again.

A 12 song CD was released in August 2005 called On The Surface.

The influences that can be heard in the music are the likes of Prong, Celtic Frost, old Metallica, and Carcass.
