Biography of BandWith my lifelong passion for music,I am writing with tremendous enthusiasm with interest in promoting SCEPTRE.
SCEPTRE has had extremely succesful gigs in various parts of INDIA...We are looking for an opportunity to seek new challenges and
promoting SCEPTRE INTERNATIONALLY..
SCEPTRE is a four-member Rock band from Mumbai(INDIA), who believe in playing music that’s heavy and thrashy.
TEEMEER D.CHIMULKAR - Vocals & Guitars
JANUS SAYAL - Bass & backing vocals
ANIKET WAGHMODE – Drums
GILROY FERNANDES - Rhythm Guitars
Teemeer, Aniket n Janus officially got together as a band on December 1, 1998 and within a couple of weeks they were playing their first
gig at IIT, Bombay. They've have been going strong ever since. Having developed a formidable reputation with their live shows they have
the crowds eating from the palm of their hands. These guys have been on the local
metal scene for nearly 6 years now.
A feast for the ears for anybody who appreciates quality heavy music played with
a lot of melody, their live set combination is almost perfect.
Their music slips most comfortably into the thrash-metal genre. They present impressive
songwriting and exceptional talent to compose ultra-brutal riffs, vocals, and murderous drumming. Noted for their sweat-inducing live
shows that are incredibly intense and are nothing short of ‘breathtaking’.
Music-wise SCEPTRE is an angry bunch and their lyrics are a dead give away. There’s angst and there’s aggression, there’s rebellion and
there’s revolution. Disillusionment giving way to verbal attack, all a backlash at the cesspool that is "the system"!
OR To put it plainly, its Teemeer, writing (read ranting) about all the dirt under the carpet. Very punk-ish themes combined with
super-fast riffs. This might be one of the reasons why they warm up to the metal-loving crowds instantly.
SCEPTRE has produced a 4 track EP that will stun you with its powerful emotions featuring
- REVOLUTION
- TWILIGHTS END
- CHARRED
- NUCLEAR
Their hot selling self-titled EP has made an impact on the underground rock scene and currently the band is working on new original
material for their forthcoming album.
