Biography of Band

Black Lotus is about Nature's irrepressible force that binds and divides us all, which we see visualized in the sun and the sky, and reflected in the waters. Rather than fighting it or coping with it to reach some personal goal, we should strive to embrace and use it to quicken a greater cause that lies deep within all of us.

The music of Black Lotus began as a collection of songs that Lindsay A. Kerr started writing in 2002. After Tegan Musser began collaborating with Lindsay it became apparent that the music was ripe enough for more members to join the fold. Thus Black Lotus was born!
