Biography of Band1989: Vratyas Vakyas recorded his 1st tape called Havamal. The tape has 3 tracks and was limited to 9 copies only.
1991: Vratyas played guitar in a band called Crimson Gates, which recorded 2 demos between '91 and '93, but were never released. Crimson Gates did 2 live performances. The band decided to split up in 1994.
1995: The tape Laeknishendr was recorded and mixed, containing 6 older re-recorded tracks.
In '95 the recording session of Falkenbach's debut album Fireblade began, due to heavy problems with the studio equipment Vratyas decided to stop the session a short while before the mix. Fireblade was never finished or released. In December '95 V.V. entered the Blue House Studio to start recording ...EnTheir Medh Riki Fara....
1996: In March '96 Vratyas recorded and completed the debut album. EnTheir Medh Riki Fara was released through No Colours Records.
1998: Vratyas recorded his 2nd album called Magni Blandinn Ok Megintiri at the Blue House again, this time released through Napalm Records.
2003: After almost 6 years of silence Vratyas entered the studio in 2 sessions for the 3rd album Ok Nefna Tysvar Ty at the TidalWave Studios. The album contains 7 new tracks and will be released on November 3rd 2003. |
